BBC Children in Need believes that every child should have the chance to thrive and be the best they can be. That is why they fund thousands of local charities and projects each year to make sure they can be there for children and young people.
Bingham Primary School decided to get involved this year by taking part in the Pudsey Bearpees Challenge.
The challenge set by Children In Need was to complete 1000 Bearpees. Our pupils not only completed their challenge but absolutely smashed it on Friday 17th November!
The children completed 2000 Bearpees in one day by working together in teams:
- Reception Class completed 100 Bearpees.
- Y1 and Y2 together completed 300 Bearpees.
- Y3/4 completed 600 Bearpees.
- And Y5/6 completed 1000 Bearpees!!
The children set themselves a target of £300 to raise for BBC Children in Need. They are currently at £263.
