British Hurdler, Dai Greene, visited Bingham Primary School today and held a special assembly for the children.
We were delighted to welcome Dai into our school. Dai is a British Hurdler who specialises in the 400 metres hurdles. He has competed internationally for both Wales and Great Britain, and he holds World, European, and Commonwealth titles, and finished fourth in the 2012 Olympics.
The children really enjoyed Dai's assembly. He spoke to the children about being a keen footballer as a teenager, playing youth football for Swansea City, then switching to athletics after winning the first of many Welsh age-group titles.
The pupils were thrilled that Dai too has the Bingham Belief...believing that if we work hard and never give up, we can achieve anything!
