At Bingham Primary School we support our children to develop a sense of curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. Our children enjoy lots of different learning opportunities both inside and outside the classroom!
Our children learn in a stimulating and enriching environment. We create a culture of curiosity, exploration, and active engagement through Purposeful Play where the children are giving time to follow a Plan-Do-Review model. Plan-Do-Review is a structure we use to allow children to identify their own learning goal, carry out the task by independently selecting materials, problem solve and review their learning. We balance opportunities for Purposeful Play with adult taught and directed tasks. We ensure that children have opportunities to independently apply previously taught knowledge within their play.
Children in Early Years are taught a broad curriculum which is designed to engage the children by following their interests and allowing opportunities to revisit and build on previous learning.
